What is Physio-led Pilates?
Physio-led Pilates is different to traditional Pilates because it can be applied to all abilities. It is a 'hands on' class where I go around and facilitate positions and movements that help everybody get the most out of the class. It is aimed at improving your flexibility, stability and strength through a variety of exercises that can be modified as needed throughout. Physio-led Pilates helps with all body aches, pains and limitations as it incorporates the whole body.
What is Clinical Yoga?
Clinical Yoga combines the science of physiotherapy with the mindful movement of yoga. Classes focus on movement with safe alignment, awareness and breath work. Helping to improve joint mobility, balance, and proprioception, strength and posture.
Move, breathe and reconnect with your body.
What are my qualifications?
In addition to being a qualified physiotherapist I have trained with APPI - which is a physiotherapy specific Pilates company. I also trained with Breeze Academy for my clinical yoga - through a physiotherapist/yoga teacher. My certificates are shown here.
